Job Summary:
We are looking for an Application Support Engineer to ensure the stability, availability, and continuous improvement of critical applications in production environments. The role focuses on application operation, standardization, automation, industrialization, and documentation, while ensuring service levels, supporting incident and change management, and applying best practices for effective application governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the operational maintenance and stability of critical applications in production.
- Support the exploration, standardization, automation, and industrialization of applications and operational processes.
- Monitor application performance and proactively identify potential incidents, risks, and service disruptions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application and infrastructure-related incidents.
- Support change management and continuous improvement activities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical and operational documentation.
- Apply application management and operational best practices to ensure effective governance.
- Collaborate with technical stakeholders to identify and implement improvements to application services.
- Contribute to automation initiatives and the optimization of operational processes.
Requirements:
- Strong experience with Windows environments and working knowledge of Linux.
- Experience with Control-M or another enterprise scheduling tool.
- Knowledge of application and web servers, particularly Apache HTTP Server, JBoss, Tomcat, and IIS.
- Basic understanding of IT architecture and network protocols.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and DevSecOps concepts.
- General knowledge of IT security and databases.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Autonomous and rigorous approach to work.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
