WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Build and operate AWS-based HPC and enterprise application platforms
• Support containerized workloads using Docker, Kubernetes (EKS/ECS)
• Automate infrastructure with Terraform, Ansible, and GitOps
• Design secure cloud networking and connectivity solutions
• Manage monitoring, incident response, and platform reliability
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Administer IAM, security, compliance, and platform lifecycle
• Optimize performance and cloud costs
• Become the SME for the Posit platform and R/Python environments

SKILLS & CAPABILITIES:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, with 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, HPC, or platform engineering
• Strong AWS expertise and experience building secure, scalable cloud platforms
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, and infrastructure automation
• Knowledge of HPC and distributed computing environments (e.g., Slurm, AWS Batch, ParallelCluster)
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), Helm, and container orchestration
• Strong Linux, networking, performance tuning, and cloud optimization skills
• Proficiency in Python and Bash, with strong troubleshooting abilities
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software delivery practices
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
• Nice to have: Life Sciences or regulated industry experience, GPU computing, API development, and tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Nextflow, Snakemake, Airflow, PBS, or NoSQL databases

*In case of being hired in Poland, in this position you will earn no less than PLN 21 800 PLN gross per month.
